Our wind turbines are maintained and managed by our highly experienced Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team who work with our farming partners to ensure they are operating at maximum efficiency.

Working With Simple Power, County Antrim Dairy Farmer Matt Millar, has benefitted from the growth of renewable energy to help boost his farm income. Simple Power offered Matt a risk-free route to securing an income from a wind turbine on his land and, unlike other options, it offered professional project management from site assessment and planning through to construction and grid connection. The single 250kW wind turbine on Matt’s farm was officially launched by Environment Minister Alex Attwood and won a renewable energy planning award in the annual Action Renewable Association Awards.
Castlerock dairy farmer, Ian Pollock, is harnessing the natural power of coastal winds to generate energy for the Northern Ireland grid on his farm overlooking the Co Londonderry coastline. Working with Simple Power, clean energy will help to sustain farm income this year and for the next 20 years. Simple Power’s model provided professional management of all aspects of the development, including site assessment, planning, construction and importantly grid connection. The single 250kW wind turbine on Ian’s farm has been visited by many local eco-schools from across Northern Ireland with children keen to learn about wind energy.

The electricity generated by the 250kW Simple Power turbine on Henry’s farm feeds into the Northern Ireland grid via Power NI, the region’s biggest electricity retailer, under an umbrella power purchase agreement with the wind energy company
